Pizza Diavolo - Pizza tomato sauce, mozzarella and peperoni
Some people like it hot ! I do. So this is the recipe for the Pizza pepperoni (i hate that name as pepperoni is peppers in Italian). But that's life.
Ingredients: (pour 1 pizza de +/-30cm)
Preparation:
- Tomato sauce
Pour the tomato puree in a bowl, add salt, oregano and 1 tbsp of olive oil. Mix and set aside in the refrigerator for an hour in order to give the full flavor of the tomato condiments.
- Condiments
Cut some slices of salame (4-5 per pizza or more if you have small salame).
Cut the mozzarella in cubes or tear it up.
Prepare 4 basil leaves.
Remove the tomato puree from the refrigerator.
- The pizza dough

Presentation:
Place the disk of dough in front of you and all the condiments. Start by spreading a ladle of tomato puree (80-90g per pizza) starting with the center and then spiraling outward without touching the edges. Sprinkle some mozzarella cheese then oregano. Add the salame then pour a little olive oil. Bake in preheated oven at maximum heat (minimum 220 ° C).
Tips:
- The ideal would be to cook the pizza from wood oven under a heat of 485 ° C for 1.5 minute. But everyone is not lucky enough to have a wood oven.
